IPL 2021: KL Rahul Retains Orange Cap, Know Latest Standings On Points Table

IPL 2021: KL Rahul retains possession of Orange Cap. KKR's victory has changed the order in the points table.

IPL 2021 Points Table Update: The last league round match of Indian Premier League Season 14 is scheduled to be played on Friday. However, the playoff situation is quite certain even before the final two matches. KKR beat Rajasthan Royals by a huge margin of 83 runs on Thursday to secure their place in the playoffs. Delhi Capitals, CSK, and RCB have already reached the playoffs.

Coming to the points table, Delhi Capitals remained at the top with 20 points from 13 matches. CSK is second with 18 points from 14 matches. RCB is third with 16 points while KKR retained fourth place with 14 points.

Punjab Kings are fifth with 12 points and their chances of reaching the playoffs are over. The IPL champions for the past 2 years, Mumbai Indians are certain to be out of the tournament as well. Mumbai Indians are sixth with 12 points. Rajasthan Royals are seventh with 10 points and Sunrisers Hyderabad is last in the table with 6 points.

KL Rahul leads

KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 98 against CSK on Thursday. Thanks to this inning, KL Rahul is leading the race for the Orange Cap. Rahul managed to score 626 runs this season. Other contenders for Orange Cap - Faf Du Plessis stands second with 546 runs and Ruturaj Gaikwad is third with 533 runs.

For Purple Cap, Harshal Patel is far ahead of the rest of the bowlers. Harshal Patel has taken 29 wickets in IPL 14. Avesh Khan is second with 22 wickets, while Bumrah is third with 19 wickets.
