IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2024 Ticket Price: Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has alleged that the tickets for the IND vs PAK fixture is being sold at around $20,000 (Rs 16.6 lakh).

IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2024 Ticket Price: The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to get underway on June 2. However, one clash that has got everyone on the edge of their seats is the India vs Pakistan (IND vs PAK) encounter scheduled at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday, June 9.

Both the teams tend to enjoy a massive cricketing rivarly and with no bilateral cricket between the two teams anymore owing to heightened political tensions between the two nations, there is all the more excitement for the IND vs PAK game.

Notably, this is the first time a World Cup will be played in USA, a decision which has been taken to promote the game but former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has alleged that the tickets for the IND vs PAK fixture is being sold at around $20,000 (Rs 16.6 lakh).

"Shocked to learn that ICC is selling tickets for Diamond Club at $20000 per seat for the #indvspak WC game. The WC in the US is for game expansion & fan engagement, not a means to make profits on gate collections. $2750 for a ticket It's just #notcricket #intlcouncilofcrooks," Modi posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The last time India and Pakistan came up against each other at the T20 World Cup, it was a thrilling fixture with Virat Kohli playing an innings of a lifetime to see India home at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in October 2022. Chasing 160 to win, India were reduced to 31/4 in 6.1 overs but Kohli's 82 off 53 helped India beat Pakistan by 4 wickets in a last-ball finish. India were eventually knocked out by eventual champions England in the semifinal of the marquee event.
