'Call Me If...': Rohit Sharma's Heartwarming Gesture For MI Youngster Goes Viral - WATCH

Mumbai Indians shared a video in which Rohit Sharma can be seen telling 25-year-old Ramandeep Singh, "Take care, buddy. Call me if you need anything."

New Delhi: The 15th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 was highly disappointing for five-time winners Mumbai Indians (MI). Mumbai Indians have won the IPL title for a record five times but this year turned out to be a nightmare for them as they lost 10 out of 14 matches and finished at bottom in Points Table after end of league stage. Mumbai Indians, first team in IPL 2022 to be knocked out from playoffs race, won only four matches this season. Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma's performance was also disappointing as he could not score a single fifty this year. Rohit could score only 268 runs at an average of less than 20.

Meanwhile, a video is going viral on social media in which Rohit Sharma can be seen saying bye to fellow players after exiting team's bio-bubble. Mumbai Indians shared this video via their official Instagram account in which Rohit can be seen telling 25-year-old Ramandeep Singh, "Take care, buddy. Call me if you need anything." Rohit's heartwarming gesture is being hailed by MI fans on social media.

After the end of the journey of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022, Rohit went to Maldives for a holiday with his family. The senior opener will arrive in England on June 15 for India vs England one-off Test from July 1-5 at Edgbaston.

"A lot of things that I wanted to do didn't happen. I am very disappointed with my season. But this has happened with me earlier as well, so it's not something I am going through for the first time," Rohit said after MI's last match of the season.

"I know cricket doesn't end here; there is a lot of cricket ahead. So I need to take care of the mental aspect and think about how I can return to form and perform. It's only a minor adjustment and I will try to work on that whenever there is some time off," he added.
