Row Over Mizoram CM Lalduhoma’s Presence In Signing Of Merger Of Chin Rebel Groups Quite Unnecessary

Recently, two Myanmarese pro-democracy rebel groups signed a merger agreement in Mizoram’s capital city, Aizawl, in the presence of state Chief Minister Lalduhoma. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, this merger agreement was signed on February 26. The two groups are Chinland Council (CC) and the Interim Chin National Consultative Council (ICNCC).
