Babar Azam Dismissal Vs Shaheen Afridi: Pakistan One-Day Cup 2024 is off to a start and the 2nd match of the tournament produced an interesting and memorable match-up, as two of Pakistan's biggest talismans, Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi, went toe-to-toe in the Stallions Vs Lions fixture.

The former Test captain of Pakistan started off on a brilliant note against Shaheen Shah Afirdi, but the left-arm pacer had the last laugh, as he dismissed Babar Azam for an individual score of 76.

Impressive Half-Centuries From Mohammad Haris, Tayyab Tahir, Hissain Talat Power Stallions' Innings

It was a memorable day out there for the batters of Stallions Pakistan on the ground of Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, as the side recorded four different half-centurions alongside solid cameos from Shan Masood and Jahandad Khan to score 336/5 at the end of their innings against Lions Pakistan.

The Mohammad Haris-led side won the toss and elected to bat first on a beautiful batting track, which offered lots of runs right from the word go. Shaheen Shah Afridi's side looked completely clueless, as seven different bowlers were used by Lions, and barring Khusdil Shah, every other bowler recorded an economy rate of more than 6.

However, Shaheen Shah Afridi did not record just one 'Last Laugh Moment' during the match, as after being smashed for boundaries by compatriot Mohammad Haris, the 24-year-old scalped the prized wicket of the opposition side's skipper in the death overs.
