The Men in Blue are set to play a five-match Test series starting June 20. However, two of India’s most celebrated cricketers—Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma—won’t be part of the squad.

Both players recently announced their retirement from Test and T20I cricket, leaving fans eager to know when they will return to competitive action.

Next Assignment: ODI Series in Bangladesh

Kohli and Rohit are expected to return to international cricket in August 2025, when India tours Bangladesh for a limited-overs series. This will be their first outing since retiring from two formats. The ODI series is scheduled to begin after India’s Test tour of England concludes on August 4.

Team India’s tour of Bangladesh is set to begin on August 17 with a three-match ODI series. The remaining two games will take place on August 20 and August 23. After the 50-over clashes, the action will shift to the shortest format, with a three-match T20I series scheduled for August 26, 29, and 31.
