Virat Kohli's Hilarious Reaction To Groundsman Leaving Him Startled During Asia Cup Fixture- WATCH
Virat Kohli appears startled in a viral video as a groundsman unexpectedly surprises him as he arrives with a super sopper and stops near him.
Virat Kohli, undoubtedly one of the most charismatic figures in the Indian cricket team and one of the greatest ambassadors of the sport, has continued his great run of form in Asia Cup 2023, scoring an unbeaten hundred in the Super Four fixture against Pakistan. Recently, a humorous video featuring Kohli has gained widespread attention on social media. This viral footage captures a surprising encounter between the former India skipper and a groundsman.
In the video, Kohli appears startled as a groundsman unexpectedly surprises him as he arrives with a super sopper. Although India's most recent match was against Bangladesh, it's worth noting that this incident didn't occur during this fixture as Kohli was not part of the playing XI in this match. This clip appears to be from a previous Asia Cup 2023 fixture. The video started circulating online during Team India's final Super Four game against Bangladesh in Colombo.

The video commences with Kohli positioned on the sidelines of the boundary ropes. The star cricketer was paying attention towards the Indian dugout. He was seemingly gearing up to take the field for fielding duties and was on the verge of stepping onto the ground. Simultaneously, a groundsman was conducting an inspection round of the field. At this moment, Kohli seemed unaware of the groundsman's presence, as the latter brought the vehicle to a halt in close proximity to the batter whose startled reaction has been the talk of the town on social media.
Kohli will be back in action as India take on Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 final which will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday (September 17). India will then host Australia for a three-match ODI series at home before the warm-up matches of the ICC Men's World Cup beginning on October 5.
