Unbelievable: Kerala U-19 girl's team gets 10 ducks in an innings, all-out for 4 EXTRAS

All the ten batters were dismissed for ducks, failing to muster even a single run off the bat

A recently-played U-19 girl’s cricket match in Kerala surprised many as the team batting first went through one of the worst collapses in the history of the game. The scoreboard of the Kasaragod vs Wayanad U-19 girls match read 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 in the first innings. After winning the toss Kasaragod captain S Akshata elected to bat first. She wouldn’t have thought in her wildest of dreams that her team will fail to score even a single run off the bat. It may sound a bit unbelievable but all the ten batters were dismissed for ducks at the Perinthalmanna Cricket Stadium in Mallapuram district in Kerala on Thursday. Moreover, all the 10 batswomen were clean bowled by the Wayanad bowlers. Skipper Nithya Loordh remained the highest wicket-taker as she returned with three wickets in her kitty which she scalped in a span of just six deliveries to cause havoc. Kasaragod Under-19 failed to amass even a single run with the bat as they were bowled out for just 4 runs on the board — all of which came through extras. Chasing the modest target, Wayanad batters scored the required 5 runs in one over and recorded a comprehensive 10-wicket win.
