Bihar MLA Ritlal's Brother Accused Of Shooting At AIIMS Security Officer Surrenders To Police

Pinku Yadav, brother of Bihar MLA Ritlal Yadav, surrendered to police after a raid. Cash totaling Rs 11 lakh and suspicious items were seized.

Bihar Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Ritlal Yadav's brother Pinku Yadav alias Tinku Yadav surrendered to police on Thursday following a raid by cops at locations linked to him. Cash worth Rs 11 lakh and other suspicious items were found during the raid against Pinku Yadav who was identified as an accused of orchestrating shooting at a security officer of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna and was absconding.  

Raids have been conducted at the premises of the primary accused Pinku Yadav alias Tinku Yadav after obtaining a warrant from the court, said Danapur Senior Superintendent of Police Bhanu Pratap Singh. 

Three guns were recovered during the raid, for which no license was produced, the SSP said. The guns were seized by police along with cash worth Rs 11.50 lakh, although the total amount of cash will be announced after the raids are completed, Singh said. 

Documents pertaining to financial transactions, backdated stamp papers of sale and purchase of lands, and a note-counting machine were also found during the raid, the SSP added.
