This SA Test Team A Real Concern For Cricket: Vaughan

Following South Africa's whitewash, Vaughan has expressed disappointment and called on ex-Proteas to revive the fortune of the team

It took just 12 balls for team India bowlers to bundle up the Proteas for 133 by dismissing their final two wickets on Day 4 of the final Test and get a 3-0 win - their first-ever series sweep against the visitors in history. India attained an innings-and-202-runs victory in Ranchi. The final margin was also India’s largest win in Tests over South Africa. Following South Africa's whitewash, former England skipper Michael Vaughan has expressed disappointment and called on ex-Proteas players like Mark Boucher, Jacques Kallis and Graeme Smith to join the management in some capacity in order to revive the fortune of the team. Taking to Twitter, Vaughan said: "This South African Test team is a real concern for the game... The game needs South Africa to be strong ... Time for Mark Boucher to take over... also why wouldn't you use Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis in some capacity ...." Skipper Faf-led men were outclassed in all the three departments and Vaughan feels it was a matter of concern, not just for South Africa but for the sport. South Africa will now host England for a four-match Test series, starting December 26 in Centurion.
