Suryakumar Yadav Posts 'Educate Your Son' Instagram Story Amid Protests Over Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case

Suryakumar Yadav took to his official Instagram handle to share a strong message amidst nation-wide protests over the recent rape-murder incident in Kolkata.

Team India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav took to his official Instagram handle to share a strong message amidst nation-wide protests over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. In his Instagram story, the world’s No. 2 T20I batter urged people to focus on educating men about such issues, rather than solely teaching people how to protect their daughters.

Yadav reshared a viral story template with the first line originally reading "Protect your daughter," but then it is crossed and replaced with "Educate your son." The subsequent lines read, “Educate your son, and your brothers, and your father, and your husband, and your friends,” laying emphasis on the need to educate males in society.
