IND vs SA: India Women and South Africa Women are poised to engage in a bilateral series, commencing with three ODIs on June 16, 19 and 23 at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Following this, a solitary Test match will take place from June 28 to July 1 at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium, with the same venue hosting three T20Is from July 5 to 9. These two teams haven't faced each other in a Test match since 2014, approaching nearly a decade without a Test encounter.

South Africa have shown ordinary form, evidenced by their recent series tie against Sri Lanka, a result they might have found disappointing considering it was played at home. Meanwhile, India's ODI performance has also been lacklustre. They suffered a 3-0 series defeat against Australia recently. Both teams will look to bounce back strongly in their upcoming ODI series, each having a good opportunity to turn things around.
