'Bilkool Thanda...': Sachin Tendulkar's Comeback Jibe At Shoaib Akhtar After India Beat Pakistan In World Cup 2023 Goes Viral

IND vs PAK, World Cup 2023: With India beating Pakistan in Ahmedabad, Sachin Tendulkar had the perfect opportunity for a comeback jibe at Shoaib Akhtar's social media post.

In a thrilling encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team showcased a masterful performance against their arch-rivals, Pakistan, emerging victorious with a commanding seven-wicket win in the 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup. The clash between these cricketing giants drew an exuberant crowd of Indian supporters, and the home team did not disappoint. Their bowling was nothing short of clinical, as they efficiently dismantled Pakistan, restricting them to a mere 191 runs. In the run chase, Rohit Sharma's attacking approach ensured that there was no pressure of the scoring board and by the time the game finished, Shreyas Iyer had also completed a fine half-century as the hosts won with 117 balls remaining

Given that IND vs PAK is such a high-voltage fixture, there was a lot of noise outside with several former cricketers expressing their opinion on the game. Before the match, ex-Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar's post had gone viral as he had shared a picture of him dismissing Sachin Tendulkar. He had captioned it: "Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh" which loosely translates to "If you want to do something like this tomorrow, keep cool."

However, as the Men in Blue thrashed Pakistan to go 8-0 up against the arch-rivals in ODI World Cups, it was Tendulkar's chance for a comeback jibe. He replied to that tweet and wrote: "My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch bilkul THANDA rakha" meaning "My friend, I followed your advice and kept everything absolutely cool."

Meanwhile, the win means the hosts have now won three matches in a row to begin their World Cup 2023 campaign and find themselves at the top of the points table due to a better net run rate than New Zealand who also have six points from three matches.
