DDCA President Rohan Jaitley Likely To Replace Jay Shah As BCCI Secretary - Report

Rohan Jaitley, the DDCA president, is likely to assume the role of the BCCI secretary in case Jay Shah becomes the new ICC chairman as per a report.

Rohan Jaitley, Delhi & District Cricket Association president, is likely to become the new Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary, in case Jay Shah assumes the role of the next International Cricket Council’s (ICC) chairman. As per the report in Dainik Bhaskar, Shah is almost certain to become the next ICC chairman as he has the backing of 15 out of the 16 ICC board members and replacing him as the BCCI secretary, will be Arun Jaitley’s son Rohan, who leads the race to fill in the role after Shah's appointment as the ICC chairman.

As per the report, Rohan Jaitley is emerging as the frontrunner to become the new BCCI secretary, with there being agreement from most in the BCCI on his candidacy. Meanwhile, President Roger Binny and other office bearers are expected to retain their positions as their terms have another year remaining.
