Pat Cummins Hat-Trick Against Bangladesh: Pat Cummins took the first hat-trick of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 during the Australia vs Bangladesh Super 8 stage match in the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on June 21 (Friday). Cummins dismissed Mahmudullah, Mahedi Hasan, and Towhid Hridoy in consecutive deliveries spread across two overs, contributing to Australia's disciplined bowling display that restricted Bangladesh to 140-8 in their allotted 20 overs.

With this hat-trick, Pat Cummins becomes only the second Australian bowler to claim a hat-trick in the history of the T20 World Cup. Australian legendary cricketer Brett Lee was the first from the country to bag a hat-trick in a T20 World Cup. Notably, both Australian bowlers achieved a hat-trick against the same opposition, Bangladesh.
