The former India skipper ended up taking a sensational catch and ensured India’s first breakthrough. After taking the catch, Virat Kohli also scripted as he broke former India player Anil Kumble’s record of 14 catches and also became the most successful fielder from India. Virat has grabbed a total of 15 catches in 27 ODI World Cup games.

India are playing without the services of regular opener Shubman Gill as he has been ruled out due to dengue. The Jharkhand-based batter Ishan Kishan filled the void and is expected to open the innings alongside India’s skipper Rohit Sharma.
