Ishan Kishan, who was on Sunday handed his maiden India cap in the second T20 International of the ongoing five-match series against England at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, scored a brilliant half-century on debut.

The Mumbai Indians star, who replaced Shikhar Dhawan in the playing XI for the second T20 International, appeared to be in sublime form as he scored 50 runs in just 28 balls.

The Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) congratulated the young cricketer from Jharkhand on his splendid knock.
