With IPL 2025 Auction fast approaching, let's take a look at five international players who are expected to draw huge bids.

Quinton de Kock: Prior to IPL 2025 auction, Lucknow Super Giants parted ways with explosive keeper-batter and opener Quinton de Kock. With his strong IPL performance, de Kock is expected to attract attention from several teams in IPL 2025 auction. Franchisees like RCB, DC, MI, and PBKS, all in need of a top-order batsman and reliable wicketkeeper, are likely to place huge bids on him.

Jos Buttler was released by Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2025 auction. A star opener and skilled wicketkeeper, Buttler also brings tons of captaincy experience. Several teams, including CSK, KKR, RCB, PBKS, LSG, and DC, are likely to target him in IPL 2025 auction. CSK, in particular, could look to add Buttler to their lineup, with possibility of him opening alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Marcus Stoinis was not retained by Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2025, despite his impressive performances over last two seasons. The Australian star's all-round abilities make him a valuable asset, and teams such as CSK, DC, KKR, RCB, and PBKS are likely to bid heavily for him.

KKR acquired Mitchell Starc for Rs 24.75 crore in last year's auction but opted not to retain the veteran pacer for IPL 2025. In this year's IPL, Starc delivered strong performances, particularly in playoff matches. Despite this, KKR released him, making him a prime target for teams like CSK, RCB, and PBKS in IPL 2025 auction.

Former England cricketer James Anderson is set to feature in IPL 2025 auction. CSK is expected to target him with a substantial bid, while PBKS, with the largest available budget, may also look to secure his services for IPL 2025 season.
