INDvSL: India to bat, Pandey, Kuldeep in, Shardul debuts

New Delhi: Virat Kohli kept his promise of experimenting in the run-up to the 2019 World Cup after winning the toss and choosing to bat first in the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka at Colombo.


India made three changes to the side, the most prominent being the inclusion of Mumbai fast bowler Shardul Thakur, who will make his India debut.


Manish Pandey finally got a game and so did chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Kedar Jadhav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the ones to miss out.


Sri Lanka, fighting for a direct qualification for the 2019 World Cup have also brought in two debutants Wanidu Hasaranga, Dilshan Munaweera.
