Here's all you need to know about how to buy India's new T20I jersey and its price.
The Indian cricket team revealed their new T20I jersey in anticipation of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, to be held in the West Indies and the United States from June 2, igniting excitement among fans. Adidas, team India’s official kit maker and sponsor took to social media platforms to share a video of the jersey unveiling ceremony, which took place at Dharamsala. Let's delve into how fans can get their hands on the Indian jersey and how much is it priced at?
Adidas had announced that the jersey will hit stores and their online platform on May 7, with a price tag of Rs. 5999. So the fans can now buy it from their official online store and their outlets. Additionally, considering the high demand from Indian fans, the brand has introduced a fan edition jersey, similar to what was done during the ODI World Cup 2023. The fan edition will be available for Rs. 999.
Coming to the design of India’s latest T20 kit, it is different from the traditional blue jersey that players have been wearing in the shortest format since Adidas teamed up with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The new jersey incorporates features from both India's training and match-day kits, having shades of saffron and blue, while featuring the BCCI crest on the chest.
