ICC Shares Picture Of Shah Rukh Khan With ODI World Cup 2023 Trophy
India will begin their 2023 ODI World Cup campaign by squaring off against Australia on October 8, while on October 15, the Men in Blue will go up against arch-rivals Pakistan in Ahmedabad.
Fans went into a frenzy as the International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a photo of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan holding the ODI World Cup trophy on social media. The image was accompanied by a caption that read,“King Khan #CWC23 Trophy It's nearly here …". India will be hosting the ODI World Cup 2023, a ten-team tournament which will kickstart from October 5 and end on November 19. India will begin their World Cup campaign by squaring off against Australia on October 8, while on October 15, Rohit Sharma & Co. will go up against arch-rivals Pakistan at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

As soon as ICC shared the photo it immediately went viral and fans couldn’t control their excitement which eventually led to the photo getting more than a million views. The comment section was flooded with praises for King Khan, one of the fans tweeted: “This is the legacy of SRK, ICC acknowledges him as King Khan. And who better than the biggest face of India to unveil the World Cup trophy."

ODI World Cup 2023 will begin with a match between England and New Zealand, finalists of the previous ODI World Cup edition. A lot of captivating matches are lined up in the league stage round. India vs Pakistan ODI World Cup 2023 match is undoubtedly the biggest on the round-robin stage schedule, then Australia's match against South Africa on October 13 in Lucknow is certainly a significant one. The Australians will be hoping for a change of fortune after Proteas won a thrilling match in the previous tournament.
On October 20, Pakistan, that will unavoidably be in the the limelight, will play Australia in Bengaluru. The following day, in Mumbai, England will go up against South Africa.
On October 22 in the scenic Dharamsala, India will try to exact revenge for their 2019 World Cup semifinal loss to New Zealand, while Australia will play England on November 4 in Ahmedabad.
