Bangladesh never recovered from the early jitters, as Indian bowlers ran through their batting lineup and left no crumbs behind. Arshdeep Singh bundled the side out with one ball remaining via a sensational yorker to Mustafizur Rahman which resulted in the latter getting bowled.
The Indian batters made light workmof Bangladeshi bowlers as they hammered them over the run rate of 11, and final bowls were landed by debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy and Hardik Pandya, as thelatter sealed the deal with a massive six.

Arshdeep Singh Awarded Player Of The Match In 1st T20I Vs Bangladesh
The Indian left-arm pacer was on song during the first T20I Vs Bangladesh and was awarded the Player of the Match for his impressive bowling figures of 3/14 in 3.5 overs.
"There was some breeze from the end I was bowling, I thought I'll use that to my advantage. I didn't get the wicket the way I wanted but the ball is coming good from the hand. I am enjoying my cricket. Just small changes in the run-up, in wrists. Trying how to get better every game. The experience is there, the more you play, the better you get. Loved the way everyone bowled, especially Mayank. I guess in this format, the best thing you can do is to adapt to the conditions and the pitch," said Arshdeep Singh during the post-match presentation ceremony.
