Background

The much-awaited fixture for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is likely to be unveiled by the International Cricket Council on June 27, Tuesday. As per the reports, the schedule is expected to be held in Mumbai at 11:30 am. On the basis of the media invite, the event will be taking place at  Astor Ballroom, St. Regis, Lower Parel in Mumbai.

Earlier, the BCCI and ICC announced a major change to the draft dispatched to the International body. As per the report by Cricbuzz, Eden Gardens of Kolkata will replace MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai as the venue to host the semifinal of the CWC 2023.

There were 12 associations who attended the meeting,” the Cricbuzz report said.
