Ahead of the India vs Bangladesh 1st T20I, team India cricket fans on Twitter felt Mumbai lad “Shivam Dube can be the next Yuvi". Fans reaction come after a 20-second video of the Southpaw practicing in the nets went viral on social media. In the video, Dube’s backlift shot was very similar to that of India’s World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh. Dube, a 26-year-old young lad form Mumbai earned his spot in the national squad on the back of remarkable performance in the domestic circuit. However, it still remains to be seen if he can earn his maiden T20I cap, when India host Bangladesh later in the day. Speaking at a press conference, Team India's stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma had stated that either one of Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube will feature in the playing XI for Sunday's match. In an interview on Chahal TV, Dube shared his thoughts on the match, which would mark the 26-year-old's debut for the national team. "I just want to continue performing well. I am playing for the country now so it is a very proud moment. There will be more eyes on me and so I need to work hard and continue the good work," he said.
