Ex-Pakistan Spinner Danish Kaneria Lashes Out At Shahid Afridi For Anti-India Remarks
Shahid Afridi's disgraceful remarks also came as a shocker for veteran team India cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, who blasted the former Pakistan skipper for his anti-India remarks.
New Delhi: Pakistan cricket team's former spinner Danish Kaneria lashed out at Shahid Afridi for his recent controversial remarks, saying that Afridi's anti-India comments have put Pakistan's cricket fraternity in a bad light.
"Afridi should not use offensive words for India's Prime Minister. Even Pakistan's PM Imran Khan has never talked about India in such insolence and he will not do that in future too. Afridi needs to learn from him and should know there is always a limit when you talk," Kaneria told India TV.
"Afridi should think before he talks on any matter. If he wants to join politics then he should leave cricket. You can't stay in cricket and talk about political affairs. His comments create a negative image of Pakistan Cricket in front of India and the whole world," he said.
Shahid Afridi's disgraceful remarks also came as a shocker for veteran team India cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, who blasted the former Pakistan skipper for his anti-India remarks.
"It is not fair, you are asking for a favour from them in the first case and then spitting poison against their Prime Minister. What kind of friendship are you pursuing?" Kaneria questioned.
However, it seems all the criticism from Danish Kaneria and even former India players like Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh, has caused no effect on Afridi as he once again came out with an outrageous claim.
"I'll remain thankful towards Harbhajan & Yuvraj for supporting my foundation. The real problem is that this is their compulsion. They live in that country. 'Wo majboor hain.' They know that people are being oppressed in their country. I won't say anything further," Afridi said on Pakistan channel Hum News.
