Rahul Dravid jointly holds the record for the most fifties by an Indian in ICC Champions Trophy. In 19 matches and 15 innings in the tournament, he scored six half-centuries, scoring 627 runs at an average of 48.23. His highest score in the competition was 76.

Rohit Sharma, despite a lackluster performance in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar series, has been exceptional with the bat in ICC Champions Trophy.

In 10 ICC Champions Trophy matches he has played in his career so far, Rohit has scored 481 runs at an average of 53.44, including four half-centuries and a century. The Indian skipper is just two fifty-plus scores away from surpassing Rahul Dravid's record of six fifty-plus scores in the tournament.

Similarly, Virat Kohli is on the verge of breaking this record. In 13 matches, Kohli has scored 529 runs in 12 innings at a jaw-dropping average of 88.16. His tally includes five half-centuries, although he narrowly missed a century, falling short with a top score of 96. Like Rohit, Kohli also requires two more fifty-plus scores to overtake Dravid.

Currently, Kohli ranks fourth among India's all-time leading run-scorers in the Champions Trophy. Both Rohit and Kohli have a golden opportunity to rewrite the record books in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
