Babar Azam's wretched form in Test cricket continues as he lost his wicket for a two-ball duck in the ongoing Pakistan vs Bangladesh 1st Test on August 21 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. After Babar Azam registered his eighth duck in his Test career, social media saw a flurry of hilarious reactions from the users.
Coming to Babar Azam’s wicket, in the 8th over, Bangladesh’s Shoriful Islam bowled a back-of-a-length delivery outside leg stump. Babar, in his trigger movement, tried to guide the ball but only managed a slight touch. Litton Das, agile on his feet with an early move and a full dive, pulled off a spectacular one-handed catch.
After Babar's wicket, Pakistan found themselves 16-3 in 8.2 overs. However, at the time of writing the story, Saim Ayub and Saud Shakeel got Pakistan's innings back on track as they were 82-3 after 22 overs.
