As reported by ICC, Sophie Molineux is suffering an acute rib-fracture as the batter suffered the injury while practising in the nets last week. The duration of her being sidelined is approximately eight weeks and it does sound alarming, as Australia will be playing their first match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 against Sri Lanka on October 4.
Grace Harris is amongst the most destructive all-rounders in modern cricket and her ability to bat or bowl in any situation makes her a handy commodity. However, the right-arm batsman suffered a calf injury and the injury has forced her withdrawal from the upcoming tournament 'The Hundred'.
It will be interesting to see whether Grace Harris makes her return in the upcoming home T20I series against New Zealand Women, as both the sides will be in for a preparation before the mega event.
