‘Bring It Home’: British PM Ecstatic After England’s Euro Win Over Germany

English Prime Minister, Boris Johson shared an image on social media where he is seen ecstatic. Check out the picture below.

London: British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson was ecstatic after England's win in Euro 2020. England defeated Germany by 2-0. "Well done @England! We're all behind you - bring it home," Boris Johnson tweeted.

Check out this tweet by the British PM where he is seen rejoicing after Harry Kane scored the second goal. 

England scored two late goals to win against the 2014 World Cup Champions Germany. Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane scored two crucial goals for the three lions! This new England team stormed in the Quarter Final! Both the goals were scored in the second half. The first half was goalless.

Although goalless, the first half was utterly engrossing from both the teams. England had a golden opportunity to score right at the end of the first half but Harry Kane missed the chance to score first. 

"The players were absolutely immense, right the way through the team and the fans were as well. Only 40,000, but it's as good an atmosphere as I can remember at Wembley," Southgate said after the match.

Joachim Low, the German coach retired after this match. He completed 15 years as the coach of Germany. He will go down as the coach who a World Cup and also a Confederations Cup.  

Although the match had a high tempo, one of the infamous highlights or the moments of the match was when the English fans decided to boo whilst the German national anthem was being played. This has caused tremendous unrest between German and English fans on social media.
