Melbourne: Canada's big serving Milos Raonic booked his place in the Australian Open quarterfinals after he stunned fourth seed Alexander Zverev in a pulsating and emotionally charged round of sixteen clash in Melbourne on Monday. Ranoic hit top form right from the beginning of the match, firing in his aces and unleashing some heavy ground strokes against his German opponent. Zverev had an emotional meltdown in the second set and threw his racquet in disarray. Zverev's outser from the Grand Slam was the second major casualty in the men's draw after defending champion Roger Federer was knocked out by Greece's young turk Stefano Tsisipas. Raonic made the so called 'evenly poised' encounter a one completely sided affair as he lost complete momentum in the match post breaking Raonic's serve in the opening game. Zverev was considered one of the hot favourites to win the tournament after his stupendous run at the ATP World Tour finals which saw him beating the likes of Federer and Djokovic to lift the title.
