Australian Cricketer Faces Heat For Liking Tweet Calling Indian Players 'Horrible Person'
Australian cricketer Megan Schutt is facing heat from Indian fans for 'liking a tweet', labelling Indian players as 'horrible person.'
'Mankading' in cricket, completely legal as per ICC rules, is in news once again due to an incident which took place during a T20 match of the ongoing South African women u19 vs Indian women U19 five-match T20I series. Indian spinner Mannat Kashyap ran out a South Africa batter on the non-striker's end. The batter was all set to leave the crease to return back to the pavilion. However, the Indian team decided to withdraw the run-out appeal, allowing the South African batter to resume her innings.
Following the incident, debates and reactions on social media took the internet by storm, as expected. Meanwhile, 29-year-old Australian cricketer Megan Schutt is facing heat from Indian fans for 'liking a tweet', labelling Indian players as 'horrible person.' The tweet features Indian cricketers trying to 'mankad' players at non-striker's end.
Some Indian fans even questioned whether the Aussie cricketer will participate in the upcoming Women Indian Premier League (WIPL). The much-awaited tournament is set to be played for the first time ever in 2023.

Hope @megan_schutt will stay away from playing with such "horrible people" at the WIPL and show some self respect by not even putting her name forward.

Why @megan_schutt brought this to my TL? It's ok to agree or disagree on some issues but why this moral policing? Especially when it's in the law of the game? Disgusting https://t.co/gMm0xe9uV6
