Prayagraj Mahakumbh: When Jupiter transits through Taurus (Vrishabha) and the Sun moves to Capricorn (Makar), the Mahakumbh is hosted in Prayagraj. The upcoming Mahakumbh in Prayagraj will take place from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
Haridwar Mahakumbh: In Haridwar, the Mahakumbh is held when Jupiter enters the Aquarius (Kumbh) sign and the Sun moves to Aries (Mesh). The most recent Mahakumbh in Haridwar occurred in 2021, and the next one is scheduled for 2033.
Ujjain Mahakumbh: The Mahakumbh, also referred to as Simhastha, is organized in Ujjain when Jupiter transits through Leo (Singh) and the Sun moves into Aries. The upcoming Simhastha in Ujjain will occur in 2028.
Nashik Mahakumbh: Nashik hosts the Mahakumbh when both Jupiter and the Sun transit through Leo (Singh). Alternatively, if Jupiter, the Sun, and the Moon align in Cancer (Karka) during Amavasya (new moon), the Mahakumbh is also held in Nashik. The next Nashik Mahakumbh is scheduled for 2027.
