Ingredients
- 1 Cup Vegetables (carrot, cabbage, beans, etc.)
- 0.5 Cup Potato (boiled and mashed)
- 4 Tablespoon Corn Flour
- 4 Tablespoon All Purpose Flour
- 2 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 3 Piece Green Chilli (finely chopped)
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Sauce
- 0.5 Teaspoon Sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
- Water or Vegetable Broth
- Spring Onion (chopped)
Cooking Instructions
PREPARE THE MANCHURIAN BALLS: Take a bowl, add in chopped vegetables, mashed potatoes, corn flour, all purpose flour, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together.
Shape the mixture into little balls and make sure that they are firm.
Take a pan, heat oil in it. Fry the balls till they are golden brown and crispy. Drain the excess oil on paper towels.
PREPARE THE MANCHURIAN SAUCE: Take a separate pan, heat little oil in it. Add in ginger garlic paste, slit green chillies, and saute for a while.
Add in all the sauces, vinegar, and sugar together. Stir well to combine everything.
Pour water or vegetable broth and bring it to a simmer.
Make a corn flour and water mixture and add it in to thicken the consistency of the gravy. Cook for a while.
COMBINE: Add the fried manchurian balls to the sauce and ensure that they are coated well.
Cook for sometime until the sauce is absorbed by the balls.
SERVE: Garnish it with spring onions and serve hot. You can serve it with fried rice or noodles for an enhanced flavour.
