IPL 2023: Kagiso Rabada Creates History By Reaching A Special 'Hundred', Breaks Lasith Malinga's Record

Punjab King’s speedster Kagiso Rabada created history as he became the quickest bowler to scalp 100 wickets in the IPL. He reached his milestone when he picked the wicket of Wriddhiman Saha during the match against Gujarat Titans at the IS Bindra Stadium. (PTI)

Rabada got the wicket of Saha in the 5th over of the match and took just 64 games to create history. He also surpassed Lasith Malinga who took 70 IPL games to pick 100 wickets. (PTI)

After Rabada and Malinga, Bhuvneshwar Kumar stands at the third position, followed by Rashid Khan (83), Amit Mishra (83), and Ashish Nehra. (PTI)

Talking about the match, it was because of the knocks from  Shahrukh Khan, Jitesh Sharma, and Matthew Short that powered PBKS to a decent total of  153/8 against Gujarat Titans at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium on Thursday. (PTI)

In reply, Gujarat Titans rode on Shubman Gill’s 67 runs in just 49 balls and ended up winning the game by six wickets. (PTI)
