Sehwag catches Ganguly and Warne napping during India-Pakistan match

In the most sarcastic manner, Sehwag then wrote “The future is shaped by one's dreams. These legends still don't waste time in following their dreams. Sone ka Maza,” on his twitter handle.

Warne took it on his stride and acknowledged Sehwag’s sense of humour.

Harbhajan also joined in the action by complementing Sehwag for his skills.

In the commentary box, Sehwag and former India skipper Sourav Ganguly had a battle of their own. It all started when Sehwag taunted Ganguly on his slow running between the wickets.

Sehwag was not the one to fall behind. The dashing opener then managed to catch Ganguly sleeping during the rain breaks. Ganguly was not the only victim of Sehwag’s pranks. Shane Warne was also caught napping.

Known for his feisty character, Ganguly then threw an open challenge to his former teammate for a 100 meter race after the Champions Trophy commences.

Favourites India mauled their arch rivals by a massive 124 runs via D/L method to start off their Champions Trophy campaign on a high.

Constant rain stoppages and a stale performance from Pakistan took much of the sheen away from the match but former India opener Virender Sehwag made sure there were no dull moments despite not being on the field.
