During the period from 2010 to 2020, Asad Shafiq played a pivotal role as the backbone of the Pakistan Test batting line-up.

Over the course of 77 Test games, Asad Shafiq accumulated a total of 4660 runs at a commendable average of 38.19.

Asad Shafiq's impressive Test career included 12 centuries and 27 half-centuries, showcasing his resilience and skill in the longest format of the game.
