Ab de Villiers creates unwanted record

England defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the opening encounter of 3-match T20 series on Wednesday.

South Africa skipper Ab de Villiers decided to bat first after winning the toss and his team could only manage to reach 142 runs.

But it was Ab de Villiers innings which shocked the entire cricketing fraternity as the explosive batsman created an unwanted record.

The 33-year-old cricketer scored unbeaten 50 in 49 balls and it is the slowest fifty for South Africa.
