According to officials, preparations for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra were hindered by fresh snowfall on the peaks surrounding Badrinath and Kedarnath on Thursday, while the lower regions were hit by intermittent rain. Temperatures plummeted in the Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts, where Badrinath and Kedarnath are located, as a result of snow, rain, and icy winds.
