Rakul Preet Singh had earlier approached the Delhi HC seeking direction to be issued to Ministry of Information & Broadcast to stop the media barrage against her after her name surfaced in the ongoing drugs probe.

Earlier in the day, the NCB grilled fashion designer Simone Khambatta for over four hours and Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Shruti Modi for over six hours.

The NCB has also summoned Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan for questioning. The three Bollywood actresses will appear before the federal agency on September 26.

According to NCB sources, Rakul and other actresses were summoned after their names surfaced in the different WhatsApp chats accessed by the agency and during questioning of Rhea Chakraborty.

Rakul Preet was seen in a white shirt and blue denims. When ABP News’ correspondent asked the actress whether she has consumed drugs in her life, she avoided her questions and only said, “I am not running away from NCB.”

Rakul Preet was asked to appear before the NCB on Thursday (September 24); however, she will now join the investigation on Friday (September 25).
