Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna attended Pushpa 2: The Rule promotional event in Mumbai on Friday.

At the event, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna spoke about their experience of working in Pushpa 2 after the super success of its prequel.

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna were in Mumbai on Friday for Pushpa 2 event.

Both Allu Arjun and Rashmika wore black for the event.

Arjun said he is hoping that Pushpa 2: The Rule will enjoy the same level of success like the first part and go on to become one of the biggest hits in the Telugu industry.

"It is a proud moment for Telugu people, who have supported me for 20 years and made me an actor, so it was my time to make them proud on a national scale and make ‘Pushpa’ a hit,” the actor said.

Rashmika, who looked beautiful in a black saree, said when she was promoting her other movies in Mumbai, people were most interested in knowing when ‘Pushpa 2’ would release in theatres.

"It's been a seven year journey for me as an actor, out of which five years I have been with 'Pushpa' and now with this film, I don't know how to react to it. I am very sad that it is ending but I am very excited that it is finally coming out. So I am a little overwhelmed," she said.

Rashmika said she was nervous working with Allu Arjun.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is directed by Sukumar and also features Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

'Pushpa: The Rise' was simultaneously released in Telugu and dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages in 2021.
