Late fashion designer Wendell Rodricks spotted the 'Sultan' actress while she was busy shopping in a mall. He offered her an opportunity to walk the ramp, which she immediately said yes to. This is how her modelling career began.

After bagging her modelling assignment, Anushka Sharma wished to achieve fame in her field and didn't aspire to become an actress. She auctioned a jacket, which she wore in 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', to provide assitance to the victims of Kashmir and Assam floods in 2014.

Anushka, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in four films, is a huge fan of 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. She is the only actress, who worked with both Yash Chopra and his son Aditya Chopra.
