Taiwanese Restaurant Shares Video Of 'Godzilla Ramen' Dish, Shocks Internet

A local restaurant in Taiwan has gained the attention of social media users after a video showing an unusual dish prepared by the chefs has gone viral on the internet. It has gained popularity online largely because of a particular ingredient used to make the dish. According to the Taiwan News, the restaurant in Douliu City, Yunlin County has debuted a bowl of ramen noodles topped with a crocodile leg called "Godzilla" ramen, which is prepared by steaming or braising the front leg of a crocodile.
The Taiwanese eatery by the name Nu Wu Mao Kuei also shared several videos on their Facebook page promoting their new dish, "Godzilla" ramen. In one of the posts, the restaurant says that the dish is available on pre-order. They also added that they have other types of ramen soups for those who don’t want to try the dish with the crocodile leg.

The video opens to show a big bowl of soup kept on a table. Soon, the woman begins to try the dish. At first she keeps aside the crocodile leg and tries the other ingredients and once done she tries the main attraction, the "Godzilla" ramen.
After tasting the dish, the woman said that the steamed version of the dish resembles chicken, while the braised meat has a taste similar to pork feet.
The "Godzilla" ramen dish contains eggs, bamboo shoots, baby corn and the crocodile leg. The soup also contains over 40 different spices and is priced at 1,500 New Taiwan dollars (approximately $48) per bowl, reported the news outlet.
The owner of the restaurant reportedly learnt how to make the spicy "witch soup" during a trip to Thailand.
