'Peak Bangalore Moment': Woman Stuck In Traffic Works While Commuting, Photo Goes Viral

The Bengaluru woman seen working on her laptop while commuting on a Rapido scooty was at the Koramangala-Agara-Outer Ring Road stretch, which has a reputation for terrible traffic jams.

Bengaluru known for its tech industry is also known for its notorious traffic jams, however, one woman chose to make the best of the worst and decided to work while stuck in a jam. An image shared by Nihar Lohiya shows the woman commuting on a Rapido scooty, working on her laptop as traffic snarls ahead. Lohiya dubbed it “Peak Bangalore moment” and the image has since become viral. According to New18, the Koramangala-Agara-Outer Ring Road stretch, where this photo was taken, has a reputation for traffic jams.

The report further stated that a tree had fallen that was struck by a truck near the military gate of the service road in Ibbalur. So, the woman had almost no choice, but to just work while she was stuck in the jam.

People on the internet had a lot of opinions about the image, some said it was just sad, some said there should be metro lines, some even said that it was a common sight on that road.

A user shared another image of a person working inside an auto and wrote “not unusual to see even in autos at signals”

Another wrote, “Imagine the pressure if she has to work on a damn motorbike. How insensitive are the employers. But if she is late due to her own accord then she is to be blamed”.

On a similar note, @souravbasuroy wrote, “Imagine the pressure, the feeling of lost in your own city where you work 10+hours a day, the disdain. All she required was a smooth traffic-less road where she could commute peacefully from her home and not account for the "extra" hour it takes to commute through a 5KM stretch”

A Twitter user maniekrishnan said, “Yesterday, I traveled from KR Puram to Hosur on the outer ring road via the Marathalli ,silk board route through Bommasandra and Hosur. The nightmare will never be forgotten, it took 2 hrs 45 minutes to reach Bommasandra. We Bangalorians are done. Metro is the only solace.”

@vigytweets called for, “Employee of the year award 👏”
