Russia-Ukraine Ready For Talks, India Chalks Out Evacuation Plan | Top 10 Developments

From Ukraine's offer of neutrality to Vladimir Putin's outreach to Ukrainian military to topple Kyiv leadership, top developments which took place on Day 2 of Russia Ukraine conflict.

New Delhi: As Ukraine's invasion continued for the second day on Friday, Russian forces closed in on country's capital Kyiv in an attempt to replace Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with a Kremlin-friendly regime.

Meanwhile, India, which is on its toes to evacuate around 16,000 stranded nationals, mostly students, is working out evacuation plans through Romania, Hungary and Poland, after Ukraine shut its airspace after insurgance from Russia on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the pre-dawn explosions rocked Kyiv and gunfire was reported in parts of the city. Horrified civilians found themselves at risk as artillery shells rained down on some residential buildings on Kyiv's outskirts.

Ukraine's Offer Of Neutrality

Putin Agrees To Send Negotiation Team

Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to send a delegation to Belarus' capital for talks with Ukraine but only after its military "lays down its arms". Putin also told China's Xi Jinping over phone that "Russia is ready for high-level talks with Ukraine". Read More: https://bit.ly/3pfvxAk

Putin's Outreach To Ukrainian Army To Overthrow Kyiv Leadership

India's Evcuation Plans Underway

Ministry of External Affairs has identified four locations in Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic and Romania to evacuate Indians from Ukraine. Air India is planning to operate two flights to Romanian capital Bucharest and one to Budapest. Read More: https://bit.ly/3JT0OkC

India Issues Fresh Advisory For Evacuation

Over 1,000 Russian Soldiers Killed: Ukraine
