New Delhi: In this cricket crazy nation, it is nothing less than a ‘dream come true’ to bump into your favourite cricketer and get him to talk to you but what would you call it if your favourite player invites you to come over to say hi? Former Indian cricket captain Anil Kumble met a crazy fan on a flight and what he did is winning hearts on the internet. This female fan of the cricketer saw him in the flight but was hesitant of approaching him, at the same time she could not stop gushing about her admiration for him. So she took to Twitter and expressed her excitement and nervousness both. Tagging the cricketer she wrote on Twitter: “The legendary Anil Kumble in my Bangalore-Mumbai flight. Glanced at him once and was reminded of that game in West Indies where he bowled with a bandaged jaw. Teared up a bit. Gawwddd, I'm such a sucker for cricket memories.” In the next tweet, she wrote that she wanted to go up to Kumble and say thank you to him for all the joy, all the victories and all the memories, but was getting cold feet.

Kumble was quick to notice the tweet and wrote a humble reply “Please feel free to come over and say hi after take off”. The woman who was overwhelmed replied: “OMG. OMG. Coming in a bit, Sir.”
