Anxious Wait For Students As Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exam Results 2020 Likely To Be Declared By Tuesday - July 07, 2020

Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) is likely to announce the results of Class 12 board exams 2020 either today or by Tuesday, July 7. According to the media reports, State School Education Minister KA Sengottayan had recently said that the the Class 12 board exam results can be released in the first week of July. The results will be declared on the official website of Tamil Nadu board. Once released, the students will have to visit board official website tnresults.nic.in. Often the websites crash because of heavy traffic soon after the results are announced. In such a case, candidates are advised to maintain calm and keep visiting the website frequently.  Students may also visit few other websites such as: dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in. The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education had conducted Class-12 examination in the month of March, between 2 to March 24, 2020. About 9 lakh students had appeared in the examination. The Tamil Nadu board was supposed to announce the results of Class 12 by the third week of April. However, the Coronavirus induced lockdown hampered the evaluation process. The authorities started the procedure of checking the exam copies quite late. This led to delay in release of Class 12 board exam results. Evaluation Of Class 12 Board Exam Copies Completed To Great Extent According to the latest media reports, the evaluation of Tamil Nadu Board's Class-12 copies has been completed to a great extent. The board is gearing up to announce the results very soon. Earlier, state education minister KA Sengottayan had said that the results of 12th class of TN Board will be released in the first week of July. However, the Coronavirus pandemic led to the delay in preparing results. As of now, there is no official information given by the board regarding the date and time of release of the result. Moreover, academic session will also start late this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For this, a committee will be formed which will decide on the class 12 syllabus. It is to be noted that Tamil Nadu Board's class-10 examination was successfully completed from 27 March 2020 to 13 April 2020.
