20-20-20 for a healthy relationship with your screens

Excessive use of gadgets could cause a number of health issues, including depression, obesity, and insomnia. So after looking at a screen for 20 minutes, it is recommended to look at a window, tree, or anything which is 20 feet or futher for 20 seconds, before you start looking at the screen again as you resume work.

This simple exercise would be beneficial to keep your eyes and eyesight healthy.

You should also keep these things in mind while using gadgets:

  • There should be a 26-inch distance between your eyes and the screen of your laptop.
  • There should be a 14-inch distance between your eyes and the screen of your mobile phone.
  • You should avoid unnecessary use of gadgets.
  • You should include more healthy foods like green vegetables, nuts, and seeds in your diet.
