Will Have To Chant Jai Shri Ram Instead Of Jai Siya Ram If BJP Wins: Mamata Ahead Of Bengal Polls

West Bengal Elections 2021: As BJP has been promoting the chant "Jai Shri Ram" ahead of rallies, Mamata is making sure that she is tapping in the right chords and has been countering it

The first phase of the West Bengal Assembly Elections is just 10 days away and electioneering has taken the next gear ahead of the state assembly polls. Trinamool Congress and BJP are the main expected rivals in the upcoming West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021 and both of them are pulling no punches.

As BJP has been promoting the chant "Jai Shri Ram" ahead of rallies, Mamata is making sure that she is tapping in the right chords and has been countering it. In her latest barb at the popular BJP chant, the West Bengal chief minister has claimed that BJP will force people to use "Jai Shri Ram" instead of "Jai Siya Ram".

"Ram performed the puja of Devi Durga (in the Ramayana). Maa Durga is much superior to Ram, that is why he worshipped Maa Durga," the chief minister also said.
