WATCH: PM Modi's 'drink something else' jibe at AAP's Bhagwant Mann

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday  ensured he not only took a dig at Rahul Gandhi but also at one of his bitter critics, Bhagwant Maan, saying the Aam Aadmi Party MP from Punjab -- unlike him telling people to have 'ghee' -- would ask them from to "drink something else". The comedian-turned-politician returned the jibe, saying it reflected the fear of losing Punjab assembly polls. "I generally tell people 'ghee piyo'. But if Bhagwant Mann were to tell people, he will ask them to drink something else," Modi said in the Lok Sabha. Mann has been accused of coming to Parliament drunk and also at a rally. Mann, who has often mocked Modi at public rallies with his political satires, condemned the Prime Minister's remarks of "baseless allegations against me". "Today's speech in Parliament showed his (Modi's) fear of elections," he said. The Bharatiya Janata Party is currently ruling both the states.
