VIDEO: Kanwariyas run riot, damage car after it brushes past devotees

In Delhi's Moti Nagar, 'kanwariyas' damaged a vehicle with sticks and the occupants of the car fled the spot fearing they could be attacked

NEW DELHI: In Delhi’s Moti Nagar, a shocking incident came into light when a group of 'kanwariyas' resorted to violence after a car brushed past them while driving. The incident took place on Tuesday when the driver of the car allegedly hit some of the devotees. The occupants of the car, who were a man and a woman,  got into an argument with the Kanwarias and allegedly slapped one of them. The kanwariyas then started to vandalise the car. The video of the incident, which took place around 5 pm, went viral on social media. The people who were present inside were able to safely get off the car. Following this, the 'kanwariyas' damaged the vehicle with sticks in front of two policemen. The occupants of the car fled fearing they could be attacked by them. The traffic movement was also affected in the area and the Kanwariyas left the spot after the police arrived.
